Over the past several weeks, I’ve been rather head-down focused on my manuscript — with a few detours to the Irish American Heritage Center in Chicago, the Pittsburgh Irish Festival, and the Boston Book Festival. I’ll write more down the road about some of the restructuring, rewriting, and other editing involved, but just a quick note here for now to report that everything is coming together nicely.
Needless to say, during this season of Thanksgiving I’m particularly grateful for the New York Public Library and a few local cafes, especially 88 Orchard, Grounded, and Think Coffee, for the roles they’ve played throughout the process.
A bit more to do, but getting there!
Great to hear from you! Sounds like you are definitely keeping busy for sure! I went downtown to go to the coffee shop we liked by ASU and it is no longer there! They are gutting the entire place and making it into a restaurant. Bummer! Take care, and thanks for the update! Sue
Thanks for the update. Glad you could take time off so that we could enjoy your company and cooking during our mini Thanksgiving vacation. Looking forward to reading the final version of your book!
Sean, I am so proud of you! Congrats on all the hard work and perseverance…. and thank God for coffee shops! Looking forward to the next update 🙂
